Pack 3228 Hosts an Exciting 2026 Pinewood Derby

The annual Pack 3228 Pinewood Derby was another fantastic event filled with creativity, competition, and Scout spirit! Scouts and their families gathered to race the cars they designed, built, and customized, making for an exciting day of fun and friendly rivalry.

Throughout the event, Scouts competed for some of our most anticipated awards, including recognition for the Overall Fastest Cars in the pack. Every race brought cheers from the crowd as cars sped down the track in pursuit of a spot at the top of the leaderboard.

In addition to the overall winners, we celebrated the Fastest Car in Each Den, recognizing the hard work and engineering skills of Scouts across every age level. From first-time racers to experienced builders, each Scout had the opportunity to showcase their design and craftsmanship.

Of course, the Pinewood Derby is about more than just speed. One of the highlights of the event was our Fun Car Awards, where Scouts were recognized for their creativity, originality, and unique designs. From imaginative themes to detailed decorations, the fun car categories demonstrated that there are many ways to succeed at the Pinewood Derby.

We also continued our popular Sibling Division, giving siblings and family members a chance to join in the action. The Sibling races added an extra level of excitement and friendly competition, allowing everyone to participate in the Derby fun.

The Pinewood Derby remains one of the most memorable traditions in Cub Scouting because it combines creativity, problem-solving, craftsmanship, and sportsmanship. We are proud of all the Scouts and families who participated and thank our volunteers, leaders, and race officials for helping make the 2026 Pinewood Derby a tremendous success.

Congratulations to all of our racers and award winners. We are already looking forward to seeing what amazing cars Pack 3228 brings to the track next year!
